Dr. Brent Hextell was born in Omaha, NE, but grew up in Illinois. He attended Morris Community High School located about an hour outside of Chicago. He attended the University of Iowa where he played baseball and earned his Bachelor of Science & Engineering for Biomedical Engineering with a focus on Musculoskeletal Biomechanics. Dr. Hextell worked for 5 years in
biomechanics research studying spinal modeling, joint replacement, lumbar spine range of motion and cervical spine changes post rugby injury. He completed an additional four years at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA where he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic and focused on sports and occupational injuries, rehabilitation and extremity trauma.

Treatment Philosophy:
Our clinic has a strong philosophy focused on finding the cause of the problem and fixing it at the
root of the problem. A proper clinical evaluation is performed, the condition is explained in detail
and the most appropriate treatment plan is presented. Treatment needs vary and financial situations
vary as well. We strive to work with each individual patient to arrange for the best treatment program
to fit each patient’s needs.
Our treatment programs may include some or all of the following: chiropractic adjustment,
lumbar decompression, extremity adjustment, soft tissue rehabilitation, custom shoe orthotics,
and nutrition supplementation.
