Family Health care
Chiropractic is for the entire family and serves many more important purposes than simply neck and low back pain. Do you suffer from headaches? Have you ever considered seeing a Doctor of Chiropractic about it? There are many causes of headaches and our physicians are trained in headache diagnosis and in many cases can relieve your headaches in a short time.

Do you have children? Have you ever visited a Doctor of Chiropractic for your child’s earaches? Why keep pumping drugs and over the counter medications into your child when he or she is not feeling well? Although those products may give you some of the desired results did they fix the cause of your child’s ailment? What are the long-term side effects of these medications? One side effect reported by many of our patients is improved immune function. We often hear and have experienced that we fight off a cold better under care. We never promise to treat a specific sickness but consistently find that by removing subluxations the body has a much greater potential to heal itself.

Full Spine and Extremity Adjusting
Dr. Hextell is an instructor for the International Academy for Advanced Chiropractic Orthopedics, a continuing education group out of Davenport, IA, founded by Dr. Mitch Mally. This is an advanced adjusting program that Doctors of Chiropractic attend to become a “sniper specific” adjuster like Dr. Mally. The chiropractic adjustment is all about specificity. Whether it be the neck, mid-back, low back, pelvis (hips) or any of the extremity regions, Dr. Hextell uses highly specialized procedures to see to it that you get an adjustment with the greatest specificity. Have shoulder problems, wrist, ankle or knee troubles? Dr. Hextell specializes in these very commonly over-looked areas. If you are having trouble in these areas you need to have us take a look!

Nutrition
It seems that everyone has weight-loss product and everyone has a new diet or program, but whose idea were these so-called “nutrition” programs? Has a doctor approved them? Did the FDA have anything to say about the products? Who tested the product for content and it’s ability to dissolve in your body? Do you have numbness and tingling in your wrist and/or hand? Have you been diagnosed with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome? Dr. Hextell has instructed at the International Symposium on Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Carpal Tunnel Syndrome is a condition that if treated soon enough can be managed without drugs or surgery. Conservative care is much more affordable than surgery and much less invasive without the scar tissue that results after a surgery!

Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction

Sports Physicals
The Rocky Mountain Chiropractic and Sports Injury Centers has two experienced physicians available to handle your student-athlete’s yearly sports physical. The State of Colorado requires specialized training and certification to perform sports physicals. Both of our physicians have completed this process and regularly provide sports physical services for the local athletic programs.

Preventative/Maintenance Care
There is no better way to improve your health and wellness than to have your nervous system checked. Routine chiropractic care is the best way to ensure that your nervous system is operating the best that it can. Maintenance care is a great way to ensure that the progress you have made in the past is not lost by allowing your body fall back to where it was before you first came for care. Maybe you have never experienced any symptoms and would like to make sure your body will continue to function optimally! Periodic chiropractic care will keep things moving properly and allow for early detection of smaller dysfunctions before they become bigger problems!

Auto Accidents & Worker’s Compensation Covered
Whether you are injured on the job or in your car, we are here to help you heal. Chiropractic care has proven very effective in the recovery process from these accidents. Most auto and work-related accidents not only involve bones out of position, but also involve soft tissue injury. This recovery takes some time and our very comprehensive procedures are designed to improve your spinal alignment, retrain your muscles and allow your tendons & ligaments to heal.

On-Site X-ray
Our facility has a High-Frequency x-ray machine on-site. If your case requires such imaging, we can take care of that need right away. In the event that advanced imaging is required, we have somewhere to send you for that too!

Pediatric Care
Kids need chiropractic care too. With all the prescription drugs, medications, vaccines and toxins that our children are exposed to, our children need chiropractic care to help their nervous systems perform at their best. Although some of the kids we see come in with a neck or back ache, most commonly they are here because their moms and dads realize the value to chiropractic care. Those children are here for periodic maintenance care and many of them tend to miss many fewer days of school.

Custom Orthotics
Do you have foot pain, knee pain, hip pain or maybe your adjustments are just not holding as well as they should? Our custom orthotics, made by Foot Levelers are digitally fitted just for you. Foot orthotics need to be custom made for you so that they are shaped to match your foot, not someone else’s and they should not be based on a generic foot model. Our digital scanner finds out exactly what your need is and Foot Levelers provides an orthotic made just for you.

Rehabilitative Services
Our facility now offers on-site rehabilitative services. There is no longer a need to have your chiropractic care here and then your rehab somewhere else. Our physicians put together a rehab program just for you that is specifically designed to support the chiropractic care that you are currently receiving. As a very good friend of mine and I have often discussed, you can move a bone and the soft tissues will just pull it out of place again and you can stretch, strengthen and massage a muscle, but the bone and the nerves will still cause problems if left unattended. The best way to handle this dilemma is to fix the subluxation and rehab the muscles at the same time.
