About
The Rocky Mountain Chiropractic & Sports Injury Centers is a product of the vision of Dr. Brent G. Hextell. The mission of the newest part of our facility is to provide specialized care to all athletes from kids active in youth sports and high school students aspiring to meet their college dream; to adult athletes such as professional athletes and especially the active population known as the weekend warrior athlete. We aspire to help you reach your optimum healthcare needs with techniques geared towards your own personal needs as well as your fitness goals.
The vision of our sports injury centers is to provide active individuals with an effective alternative to more invasive procedures in an environment where the patient knows that they are receiving the BEST POSSIBLE CARE. We assure you that if you were not in the right place the doctor would refer you to the proper physician.
Finally, our goal is to provide our patients with the highest level of healthcare possible from spinal care to those pesky extremity issues that many of us feel are “just a part of growing old”. Dr. Hextell can show you that they are not!
Dr. Hextell is a graduate of the University of Iowa where he played baseball and earned a degree in Biomedical Engineering with a focus in Musculoskeletal Biomechanics. Dr. Hextell has much to offer active members of this community. He has experience as a colligate athlete, conservative health care experience from his doctorate work in Chiropractic, advanced training and teaching experience in the care and prevention of athletic injuries, strength and conditioning experience with a national certification, specialized nutrition and weight-loss training as well as sideline primary care experience at state competitions such as the Florida Senior Games. Although Dr. Hextell has extensive training in athletic and other repetitive trauma injuries, he is continually striving to increase his specialized knowledge and has recently completed the first level of expert training in golf fitness offered by theĀ Titleist Performance Institute as well as the first level of three dimensional biomechanical analysis of athletic motions such as the golf swing.
Whether you are in need of help with an old athletic injury, a new one or another extremity issue that has been troubling you, the services offered by Rocky Mountain Chiropractic & Sports Injury Centers can benefit you!
