Q: How can you help with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome?
A: There are 3 main nerves to the hand. True Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS) arises when the median nerve becomes compressed at the level of the wrist. There are only two causes for CTS. Either a decrease in the size of the space the nerve passes through or an increase in the size of the contents of the space. Although splints and medications have proven helpful, they do not address the true cause, thus reoccurrence is likely. I use a combination of specialized adjustments, cold laser therapy and rehabilitative exercises to address the true cause of the dysfunction and prevent reoccurrence.
